August is Women’s Month in South Africa — a time to recognise, celebrate and honour the incredible contribution women make to our families, communities and society.
At Smart Service Dog, we are proud to celebrate the remarkable women who are part of our journey. From trainers and puppy raisers to clients, families, volunteers and supporters, women play an important role in helping us provide professionally trained assistance dogs to people who need them.
We see every day how compassion, determination, strength and dedication can make a lasting difference. The women who raise our puppies, train our dogs, support our clients and advocate for greater independence help create opportunities that can genuinely change lives.
This Women’s Month, we simply want to say thank you to every woman who inspires others, supports those around her and continues to make a difference — often without recognition.
